Ontario growers update

Well, I put a Mackenzie 1010 and an Emmons 790 in the ground about two
weeks ago.  Bother were are the single true leaf stage.  I've had to
cover them up on a few nights but they brave the day's weather un
protected.

I have seen very little growth yet.  The stems seem to be getting
thicker though, especially the 1010.  But both plants only have two
leaves with two tiny ones beginning to unfurl.

I'm blaming this slow growth on the weather.  We have had tons of rain,
a lot of cloud and mostly cool days.

Can any other Ontario growers please give me an update.  Am I alone in
experiencing slow growth?
