I just wanted to thank everyone for the response to the splitting problem. I
figured it was some kind of new plant virus or bug that was untreatable. It
would have been just my luck. Last year I was struck by some weird type of
mosaic virus which made for some ugly, no, Really Ugly, pumpkins/squash. A
few of the uglies got big, but were prone to splitting. Anyway that was last
year, and now I know how to combat that mosaic virus, and if growing too fast
is the problem, then I'll hold off on the Nit. boosts for a while, and keep a
constant lite watering on them.
Take Care, and Good Luck,
Brett The Pumpkinguru
PS does anyone out there have any really good seed they could part with?
Thanks to those splits I have 2 open spots now, for my squash plant also
fell victom. I will trade or purchase if need be, but preferably trade, for
I want to see if everyone has good luck with my 627. Thanks again
