Did you know that Patrick O'Veltman's 70 beat out Chris Andersen's
largest pumpkin in l996 by one pound!
One more interesting POV fact. The date he was with at the first annual
SPGA barbecue HAD FINS!
More strange stuff, but TRUE!
Chris Andersen called me around 9:00, Saturday morning (5:30 am his
time!)
just to talk AGs for awhile but unbeknownst to him, Mary and I were,
well how can I say, hmmmm...in the middle
of...hmmmm....aaaa...well....pollination...if you know what I mean. I
said "Chris, call me back in three minutes."
You know I still don't understand why my wife
doesn't like this pumpkin stuff. Dr. Wayne?
Anyway, the Pumpkin god is having trouble with the local water system in
that they have switched over to some new chemical instead of the old
chlorine and it seems to be effecting the seedlings! He is considering
switching over to bottled water to water his patch with. Pierrier I
believe.
One last fact:
Did you know that Zoo Doo eats pounds and pounds of herring each month.
Must be from working with that Seal-Doo.
