pigeon droppings

Hi, Pumpkinites,

A friend of mine thinks it would be a good idea to add aged PIGEON DROPPINGS
to my garden. I think he is nuts. This is old, dusty stuff that is in my
aunt's barn loft, and has been added to over the years.

What I want to do is clear the stuff out of there, but can it carry any
diseases? I don't want my obit to read that I died from pigeon droppings.

While on the subject, are chicken droppins too "hot" for use? I've also
heard that geese droppings, fresh, are good for a lawn.

I received the sunflower seeds today and they are gems! Thanks so much,
Pumpkinflower. I can't wait to plant them.
