Beth,
Glad to hear from you. The Carlsons updates have been missed. Regarding
signature files the method I used to add mine is as follows (I'm using
Communicator 4.5).
Using notepad (comes with windows) create a simple text file with
whatever you
wish to appear at the close of each e-mail. Save it in a directory where
you
will be able to find it later. From the communicator main window select
FILE from the menu bar, then click preferences. A panel will appear
showing a list of categories you can modify to configure Netscape.
Double click on
MAIL & NEWSGROUPS, then click IDENTITY. The panel displays the
changeable
options for IDENTITY. Click the CHOOSE button next to the signature file
text box.
Using the directory listings locate the file you saved earlier as your
signature
file. Select your file and click OPEN. The panel closes and you return
to the
preferences panel. Click OK. Your Done.
