Re: PVP, Was: Seed collection

Very interesting subject. If the seeds are the real thing what good is a few
100 dollars going to do for anyone. If you were a true grower/friend of a
grower why not give it to that person as a gift or give it to the person who
had given it to you or someone who got you started in the sport. The
morality question really is evident here. I don't mind paying 10 or 15
dollars for good seed directly from the grower for their time and handling
but 1725 dollars is ridiculous. But again there is people out there willing
to pay for it and in my opinion are wrong also, unless the money is going
towards charity or raising funds. Next we will see people selling seeds and
saying the funds are going towards charity or a fund raiser and thats not
the case. On the other side they have whats called freedom to do what they
want, which leads to the legality of the whole issue, I don't agree, but
unfortunately is a expensive process to take to court. Oh well, plenty of
good seed out there and may those seeds being sold produce a 200 pounder
next year so that this will discourage other growers from buying seed on
ebay. Just my opinion and I hope I didn't offend anyone. If I did you can
email me at apapez@cogeco.ca and we can discuss it.
