The Pumpkin Peoples Poet
The Great Australian Bard "Hickman" speaks through verse,
And in the blink of an eye the world sees His words!
And in the Pumpkin World
He says this or that -
AND IT IS SO.
On one He re-confirms their hard earned fame-
and on another He bestows the status of greatness,
On New Zeland - flames
On Australia Fame!
AND IT IS SO.
Oh, Pumpkin Growers do be aware
The Great "Hickman" sits in his Lair-
and if your stroy he gets hold
in His great words
IT WILL BE TOLD
The word of the peon
cannot a candle hold,
To His Greatness,
and cannot overthrow
THE POWER OF HIS TALES TOLD!
You cannot but say yea or nay,
For His words are a wonder to behold-
And He says this , and He says that
AND IT IS SO AND WILL BE TOLD
