PH TO HIGH


I hope someone can help me with my ph level in my garden ,it is to high
7.2.It has been tested I got plenty manure,mulch for over two years
now.The ph level has drop a little bit I still grow 300 to500lbs
pumpkins very green plants.I want to lower it I read the giant
pumpkins,2 it recommends to use ammonium sulfate I got a bag of it but
the instructions only says for general feeding per sq.ft,but I am
treating the whole garden how many lbs will it take per sq.ft. to bring
it down a notch or two, Or is there any other way to bring it down, I am
looking for suggestions.I have never added lime to the soil they say
that it is awful high for New England
