A good way to lower you pH is to use soil Sulfur. Usually the bag will
tell you how much to use to lower the pH by . 1 I used it in my patch and
it worked in about six months. I used 15lbs on 750 square feet and I went
from a pH of 7.2 down to a pH of 6.6 to 6.7. It is inexpensive and I have
found it to work very well.
On a side not, do not use lime because it is used to raise the pH.
