   Bill is on to something here. Libby's is the largest producer of packed 
pumpkin ( They are owned by Nestles) and I believe it is out in Morton, Il. 
Brian is a fellow pumpkin grower and plant manager of New Milford 
Farms....(compost plant for Nestles) . He has seen the " pumpkin" processing 
in action......quite interesting. He can tell you more about the variety.  I 
use butternut or Hubbard squash to make my pumpkin pies.
