When my pumpkins start rotting or when I am through with them, I cut them up and haul them back out to the patch. Pumpkins have a lot of nitrogen in them.

Hey all,I had a new PB this year with 500lbs. Very fun. We had a local big pumpkin contest this year but it's not an Atlantic Giant weigh-off. This is only my 2nd year and it's the first time I had one weighed. My question is, is thisweight considered official, and what do you all do with your pumpkins at the end of the year?
