Rick - a few years back I had someone steal a 250 lb pumpkin from my front
yard. This was before I was a grower - I had purchased the gourd and
invested alot of hours carving it. About 4 days after Halloween, it
dissappeared. At first I was really angry, and then I realized that the
pumpkin was maybe 48 hours away from pulling a total meltdown, hopefully in
the trunk of some theif's car. After that, Iwas afraid they would return
it! But I did get some satisfaction out of imagining the "prize" turning
aggressively into slime. Serves them right.
