THE GREAT SEED TRADE
The seed thing is about to begin. All of those who hope to outdo the revered
Chris Anderson are planning and preparing for "next year." I use the word
planning and not scheming due to the implications therein. Somehow someone
needs to develop some sort of a system for the "Great Seed Trade." I really
appreciate all of those who have helped me in the past, too numerous to
mention. If Granny Pat has any leftover 1006 seeds I am here!!!
I am proposing that anyone who has seeds they would be willing to trade or
give should list their seeds and their addresses. Those who want those seeds
could then send a stamped self-addressed envelope to the owner of the seeds
and could shortly thereafter be "gifted." Some of us may want to sell seeds.
I have no problem with that provided it gets the desired seeds to those who
are willing to put up a little cash to get them. I don't think any of us are
going to become rich selling seeds but it could help offset the cost of
manure etc.
I would be interested in hearing what all of you think about this. For those
who want to trade or get free seeds or purchase seeds, it is much easier to
do so if the individual desiring the seeds sends a stamped self-addressed
envelope. Personally I think if you really want free seeds from someone that
the least you could do is to go through the effort of sending an envelope
etc.
Example:
I have 210 1061/1006 seeds ( three per request) free for the asking to first
requests.
