Bob,I have used barn lime for several years and have recommended it to other 
growers. I believe barn lime is more of a powder than granular lawn lime. 
You need to go to a feed store or wherever farm supplies are sold, and 
should have no problem finding it. As far as tilling vines in, I stay away 
from it myself. You can easily spread plant disease throughout your garden 
through this. Get rid of it and start fresh next year with better compost.I 
also add 5 yards manure each fall per plot and till in twice before putting 
it to bed for winter. Any PH adjustments I need will be done at this time
