Re: Scott

Chris,
I'm sorry your felt offended or thought you looked
bad. I know that Scott
Didn't intend this. He just spoke his mind. And
apparently a few others agree with him.
He was not quick to judge you. He judged you as
compare to how others
have acted.
I'm glad that you are donating some of your seeds.
But it still doesn't change the fact that you want to
sell others.
$15 for a bubble pack, a seed envelope and two seeds
is more than just covering costs its selling them.
I don't think any one wants you to not have your costs
covered. But cost is like $2.
If you want to make money to improve your patch - go
for it.
$13 times 100 or more seed requests would go a long
ways toward doing that.
Did you pay $13, for the seed that grew your pumpkin,
to help that person improve his/her patch ?
Many Heavy Hitters send out their seeds for "free".
Others sell them.
Both groups are represented on the list and do fine.
Rocky made a great post on the ambassadors of the
sport.
It is something to think about.
Many of us just wonder where all this seed selling is
leading the
group and sport. There will always be some seeds out
there for "sale"
I think some people are encouraging this and trying to
increase prices.
People are free to do as they wish.
I personally think it is a bad trend that is
increasing. But that is just my opinion.
I also think there will always be plenty of good seeds
out there for "free" or cost.
All the rest of us can choose to buy or not buy as we
wish.
So do as you wish but I wouldn't get to upset if
someone disagrees with your choice.

Just my thoughts. And be careful when you send your
seeds out. I've heard that they some times they may
implode or explode if shipped via Air Mail. Not sure
how or why? -I didn't have physics in High School. :)
