Snow and Frost Questions

The weekend forecast is for snow wand temperatures in the high 20's. I have
some remay like material (it is actually a bit heavier than remay) to cover
my plant, but need some ideas on how to support this over the plant. Just
looking for something quick and easy - temperatures are expected to warm up
after the weekend. What is the best way to keep the fruit warm through
this. Should I lose the plant to frost, what then? Should I just leave the
pumpkin on the mushy vine and bide my time?

Thanks,

Kevin
