My first year growing (trying to) a big pumpkin. I have three, two of which look good (to me). They are about 31/2 ft long and about 18 inch. in diameter. One looks kinda funny, like an hour glass. My question is, should I water and fertilize the whole vine including the 25 ft. growing past the pumpkins? They are still kinda yellow and are starting to grow more every day. Also does that vine growing past the pumpkin help it to grow?
Thanks,
Mr. Bojangles/Kenny G./Dzywiak
