Re: Official or Not

Oh, I knew it was a joke, (Kathie, you are always joking!) but I didn't get the rottotilling aspect. I just thought you were making a funny about how can a HILLSIDE grower have a LEVEL field? My ex-father in law (who raises cattle in Texas) used to come to CA to visit, and he was sure that the cattle here must have legs shorter on one side, because they were all grazing on the sides of the hill.

Anyway, I am quickly learning that this is part of the trouble with email. The recipient cannot see the playful smile, or hear the laughter in the voice of the sender. My policy, and one that I would recommend to all, is that, when you read a post that makes your hackles rise, try to read it in a "playful" voice, and see if that works. Especially if it is coming from someone from whom you would not expect an attack.
