True, pumpkins are much better than football. It makes a point, though.
This will be my last post on the subject (Tom is probably tired of all this):
I helped Tom (along with 7 others) lift the pumpkin onto a pallet. All I can say is, it was a solid monster. It seems to me that there may need to be a rule regarding internal rot, but how do you judge that? Certainly not days later. I guarantee his was not the only one over the years to be in that condition. It was just revealed due to the mishandling on the scale. If I were in Indiana, I would be going for 1098! Tom's the man in Indiana!
