soggy news

Greetings folks,

I've been monitoring this site for about 5 years and post occasionally.
Haven't had any big success in the garden after 5 years, but this year shared a single seed with a friend who grew a biggie. My guess was about 200 lbs plus or minus 50. I was happy to see a bit of success. Unfortunately the summer monsoon rains seem to have set a mold after the bottom, and the whole fruit collapsed.

I haven't read about this sort of outcome on the listserve, but I suppose others get summer rains too.
Any tips for next year would be really appreciated
Regards,
Curt
