Re: soggy news


Curt,
We just received over 20" of rain in August here in MN....for my fruit  under 
the 300 lb mark...we lifted them up and put  2" stryofoam under  them(to keep 
them out of the water!).  For the bigger fruit I had put a  50lb bag of sand 
under most of them to start the year and am crossing my fingers  that will 
hold them through these "mucky" times!  I also have spray a weak  bleach solution 
around the base of the pumpkin...but that won't help deeper  in.
