Alan, should I still keep the tarp and curtains on it with out a blanket at
night if it stopped growing? It is very damp here and didn't know if the
dampness would cause a problem. I am having a hard time determining if it is
still growing since it might be a pound a day and that could be human error.

I have noticed that there seems to be two different schools of thought
regarding
whether to keep your pumpkin warm at night or not. One post I read said it is
etter to keep it cool at night (not cover unless frost) since it will help
reserve it, much like a refrigerator. The other is to keep it warm. What is
he thoughts from the list?
I have tarps over the pumpkins, supported by poles, and I cover them with
lankets at night and wrap a curtain of tarps around the whole thing. I also
se the curtains if it rains to keep it all dry. So far there has been minimal
oisture on the blankets in the mornings. If I don't use the curtains, the
lankets will be quite wet in the mornings. I don't know what them temps get
own to in the enclosure. I have 2 weeks to the weigh-off and want to keep it
ealthy, although I think it has stopped growing.
