Re: leaf and vine growth

I am having the exact same problem. my plant is producing fruit and vines
and leaves like crazy, but very little seems to be going into my big one.
i pinched off all the small fruit, and the tips of all the growing vines in
hopes of putting some energy back into growing the main fruit. i only did
this yesterday, so i don't know how well it's going to work out. should i
apply some fertilizer high in potash? anybody out there with ideas?

I am having a puzzling experience in my patch. the two plants think it
is July and are producing new fruit by the dozen. I thought things were
supposed to die off about now. And my biggie, Fat Boy, seems to have
stopped growing although everything is healthy.
Is there a connection? Should I spray round-up on the vines to get Fat
Boy into one last convulsive growth spurt?

the article on transporting fruit to weighoffs, in the PNWGPG Main Vine,
was very informative. Thanks guys.
