Re: Trailer vs truck

I used a trailer last year to haul the pumpkins and worried about the
same things.  Everything turned out ok I placed 4" foam pads under the
pumpkins to give it a little cushion.  The hard part was tying them to
the pallet.  I think the best way to keep them on the pallet is to wrap
them in plastic wrap you see in the warehouse stores.  Then we used tie
down straps to secure the pallets to the trailer.  If you want to
transport by truck how about trading your vehicle for a friends truck for
the day.  Then give it a nice bath and clean the windows and it just
might be available next year.  This always works when someone barrows my
truck.
