Janette,

Like George said that if it really looks like it will open up then put on
some tangle foot or grafting wax.....or silicon.....if you catch it right
when it opens and keep the air out it will still grow a little.......aren't
you folks starting to really cool down there in Wyoming...........Hek make
sure you have some witnesses when you weigh it might be a state
