Just noticed some on mine today............mine were not a good
sign........generally you might be able to scrape out a surface soft spot
and apply a dry fungicide.........BUT if the soft spot is from the inside
going out then its BAD news!!!....the only way to know is to scrape the
soft spot if its not mush to the cavity you  might make it......YOURS sound
young and is a sign that there aborting.............hay is not the best
Idea........as if it gets moist it holds the moist and create a rotting
environment....... it more THINK STUFF TO STAY DRY..........sand is what I
use and its average as you have to keep adding it if your lucky........
Dull is not GOOD!  But time will tell best of luck!! Brock
