Re: Root Cuttings
I watched Martha Stewart today (yes, I know, I'm sorry) but anyway she
had this gardener on who showed how to propagate Poppies & also shrubs &
trees by root cuttings. When do you take root cuttings? When the plant
first comes up or wait til it's finished blooming? And can you plant
them outside right away or should you put them in a cold frame or
greenhouse for the first season? Any information on this would be
appreciated. Thanks. Also would you be able to do successful root
cuttings on an Aucuba japonica (Gold Dust Bush)? Judy Showers
