Thank You All and now...Hally Jolivette

Thanks to all you kind people who gave me excellent information
on keeping my tree/shrub seeds growing. Now i have a new question
someone has offered me 2 cuttings from the prunus family
"Hally Jolivette"
prunus angustifolia Rosaceae
I have never attempted cuttings but would like to try...
my question. Is now a good time to take cuttings
and does a prunus require anything unusal to take root.
I have read the Dirr books...so have a sense of how to proceed
...anyway. Thanks for all your thinking and pondering.
