ListFriends,
I have not tried warmth AND light yet. I am going t omove my pots to the top
of my hot water heater [to cheap to buy a mat] which has a light right over
it.
I have also not tried fire but didn't know that any of this family was
served by fire. I thought that was more of a prairie and grassland thing.
Then - I guess I don't know where all of the tobacco family are from in the
wild. I guess I did know that some tree seeds needed scorched by intense
heat like a forest fire.
My seeds were from the Grocer, the Northrup King display. You've all seen
them.
BTW, what are the sizes of the blooms on these plants? [in full sun, good
loose soil, fertilized twice]

Thanks for the help, I'll let you know if I get anything germinating. I'll
probly buy another packet. If it's a non-performer, I'll give up on N.K.

Today's witticism; Some things are so serious you just have to laugh at
them.
[Nothing in my garden is that serious though.]
