Re: Asexual propagation of hosta


If you've broken off a crown from a hosta then it can usually be rooted.
Remove  most of the leaves and stick it in a soilless mix. I've never used
any hormone and I have simply stuck them in the ground outside early when
moisture is high. Hosta will usually grow if one root is left on a broken
crown.

Thanks for the heuchera info, just saw H.'Snowstorm' and its very nice.
