Hi Nan,
Without knowing what the plants look like when they die.......dry, rotting
or what, I'd venture a guess that maybe they're getting too much water.
That is a problem I have when I move things out of the "baby plant nursery"
to the greenhouse. They get too much water because they are on the same
watering schedule as the larger plants and the small ones don't take up the
same amount of water from the soil, so the soil stays wetter. Hence, the
roots stay too wet and they rot. It's important not to over water the small
plants. Just water them when they're dry.
...of course, this could be way off base.....
