    Dunno, I'd start looking at soil moisture levels, excessive size of
plant for the size of the pot, and nutrient deficiency, if it were me.  The
most common cause for stunting in my rather limited experience has been
chronic, low level water deprivation.  In other words not _quite_ enough
water for an extended period.  Often lose of the larger leaves, and a
glossy sheen to the newer leaves, accompanies this.
