I think they need more light.
If they were growing outside - or even in the GH for the summer they were
receiving 16 hours of light. During the short days of Dec. that light is
reduced to about 8. That's a BIG change for them. You must provide the
growing requirements they need if you want them to continue their growth.
Try supplimenting light in the morning and evening so they have at least 16
hours. The light candles probably should be studied also.
Don't spray unless you find an insect problem. Also don't overwater - your
plants are taking a rest - probably somewhat dormant - and don't need water
until they start growing again.
