There are the times you want to use a wetting agent, no?
But what to use? I've found a little SAFERSOAP (just a little) in a
tub of water makes the wetting go faster.

There are probabl other ways, but right now I'm a fan of soaking the
peat in a tub and draining it on a compost fork before moving it away
from the tub.

You definitely DO NOT want to incorporate dry peat into your mixes.
