I got the same letter that other people did. I sent this particular
discussion group a letter stating that it is illegal to send plants and
certain seeds (Helianthus, for instance, that can carry eggs & larva of
insects), but NOT ALL seeds fall in that category. I then, suggested
that they contact their dept of agriculture for the rules in
seed-swapping with the USA. I told them I had been swapping seed with
gardeners in the U.K. for 6 years and have taken precautions. Judy
