Re:Deinanthe germination

I haven't tried this species, but the following infromation is given in 
Deno _Seed Germiantion:Theory and Practice_:

	Deinanthe bifida: requires light, germinates in 13-15 days at 
70F; germinaton rate 25%.  No germination, but no deterioration in dark, 
or at 40F. 

	Requiring light means surface sowing, with or without a light 
covering of grit.
