No,chicken grit is sold as "GRAN-I-GRIT". The chicken grit is called
starter and the coarser form is called grower. It is pure granite. I
have not purchased it in a couple of years, but it was hard to find and
usually had to be ordered. Pumice is availabe at
reasonable price at OFE in Miami. Two years ago it costs $8.00 c.f. and
can be shipped cheaply by using UPS 200+ service. You order 200 lb.,
which is 7 bags and save about 40% on shipping. That came to $12.50 a
bag for Illinois two years ago.
