Hello there,
No experience with any of the species you mentioned, but I sprout quite
a few seeds on paper towels in plastic baggies set on heating pads 2
inches beneath flourescent bulbs. If the seed is healthy and viable,
they can be there for 2 months and more without mold, and little or no
algae. No dessication, if the baggie is sealed well enough, and I have
pretty good luck germinating seeds this way. Careful not to let the
roots grow through the paper towel, as it is a pain to sperate them.
When it happens, I often end up planting bits of paper towel.
Good luck,

I'm curious about germinating seeds in paper towels & am going to try
it.
In fact, I have a few chilling in frig right now.
They are ones that need stratification.
But can you use this method with seeds that need light to germinate?
And if you put the baggies in a warm place instead of the frig, won't
they grow mold or get nasty?
