Re: Trouble w/ Lobelia


I can report on my procedures which follow Parks packet instructions. I do
annual lobelia regularly. The references do indeed say pre-chill so your
procedure should be adequate. However, Parks does not. I follow the these
instructions: Sow on top of soil for light exposure, germ at 55 degrees,
keep moist. Should germ in 10-15 days.  A cracked back (West) window does
great for me. It's a room a pass regularly so I can easily regulate the
crack to attempt to keep an evenly cool media temp. It works so I am not
inclined to follow the references' instructions. Perhaps others have more
definitive experiences.
