idea for survey to the group and list of members

Hi Duncan,

How about a survey to the group that can be posted back to the group and
kept at the seed list homepage.

I am thinking about basic information 

Where located--Country (Lat/Long data would be nice e for large
geographic/climatic countries)
Climate Zone and/ min max temps, rainfall, snowcover
Experience level

Something along those lines.  This would give everyone a chance to see
Where our members are located.

Also....you may be working on this but we've talked about so much in the
last few days....having a list of members and their email made available to
everyone on the list.  With options for those who wish, to conceal
themselves.  Usually this is an automated listserver function.

Talk to you soon.  I'll be away from my computer for a couple of
