Alpine House Propagation

Have received all my seeds from the societies I belong. In the past, I
have  placed a plastic bag around my seed pots and set them outside for
the winter. Now with a Alpine house, I feel there is no reason to place
a plastic bag around the seed pot. Is this correct?
