Re: Glaucidium palmatum answer


We have not found Deno's germination results to be overly replicable.  It
may have to do with the great variations in atmospheric/storage conditions
of seeds before attempting to germinate them.

Some of the other sources we checked say GA-3 is really helpful.  Jelitto
says it's a 'frost' germinator (eg: 40F for 3 months, then shift slowly to
70F).

We just wanted to know if the 'swelling' was a sure sign of successful progress.
