Jack Elliott wrote an excellent arcticle on Fritillarias form seed in
the Growing Form Seed, Spring1988 Vol 2, Number 2 publication. Ask
him, I think his address is jelliott@msn.com. He is on Alpine-l and
maybe some members may send this note his way.
