G'day, y'all --
I tried planting some seeds this spring & grew them under lights.
I had mixed results.
What grew best for me is Belamcanda, Leopard Mixed Colors.
At least that is what my marker says.
I thought this was a variety of Blackberry Lily.
But my seedlings don't look anything like the Blackberry Lily that I am
familiar with.
The pkg describes sword-like rich green leaves.
The leaves are rich green but look more like Coreopsis rather than lily.
I have a couple Blackberry Lillies & the leaves look more like Iris.
Does anyone have any experience with this variety??
I am wanting to plant these outside but don't know where to put them because I
am afraid they are something else.
The seeds are quite large & didn't plant the whole pkg so don't know how I got
a whole flat of them!!!!
I know most of you would say to plant them outside & wait & see what happens.
Which is what I plan to do but I JUST CAN'T WAIT!!!!
Thanx for whatever help you can give me.
