I still lack a theromostat for my 'film' prop. mat, but I've acquired 
a different, larger mat.

Can someone give me some pointers on setting up a 'professional' 
propagation mat?

Now I have a heavy 'pink' mat. I also have a thermostat for it. (It 
is quite siezeable) What I don't have is the instructions for 
installing the mat.

I seem to recall that mats like this require a 'ground screen' under 
them. The questions are: what is a ground screen and how do you 
'ground' it if you are working in a house? And, of course, what 
happens if I don't 'ground' the mat?

Also, again, doe these mats get insulating boards above and below 
them, or only below them?
