Re: Propagating columbine from seed

Columbines require light OR cold stratification OR a soak in
gibberellic acid (GA-3) to germinate. Surface-sown, then covered with
No. 2 chicken grit and overwintered outdoors or in a cold frame, all
species we have tried germinate abundantly.
