Dear Warren, You can successfully root 'Powis Castle' early in the growing
season when the new growth has begun. Be patient, though, because you can not
begin until you've had a month of growth. Take tip shoots, dip them in
some hormone powder for insurance, and stick them in a well-drained potting
mix. Cover the pot with some drycleaner's plastic and place somewhere out
of direct sunlight. Indirect light's okay.In fact, it's good. Take a dozen
or more. You'll lose some ,but what the heck, I betcha you'll get a few to
take.Good luck.
