Hi:
It depends on the fixture and the wiring ability of the person doing
the modifying. Sometimes there is room between the two tubes in the
center to install a socket for incandescent. I,ve done it, the socket
needs to be wired in after the fixtures switch if there is one and
before the ballast. for a 4 ft bulb, place them 10-12 inches from the
end. This may not meet electrical code!
