A small group of pale yellow iris has shown up in my native grass
(mostly big bluestem and indiangrass)yard in an area where I have not
planted iris. I assume it can be grown from seed. Would it be spread
by some wildlife? I do not know of any iris this color within a mile of
here. I do have some purple iris about 100 feet away. I did plant a
wildflower mixture there once years ago, but why would it show up now
after more than 5 years? Any ideas?
