I took Duncan's advice and searched the archives before making this post. I can't find anything on this shrub. I have Indigofera heterantha, a low growing shrub with stiff stems and loads of small sweet pea like flowers. I've had the shrub for 2 seasons and now it's covered with burgundy colored seed pods. The pods are firm and dont feel like they are ripe yet, even at this late date. Does anyone have any words of wisdom on propagating Indigofera? I doubt there are any other Indigofera for miles in my suburb so chances of cross pollination with another variety would be unlikely. This is a rhododendron and azalea kind of neighborhood.
